Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the principal of McColl Elementary Middle school, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, understanding, and patience as we implement our new dismissal plan. This transition is of utmost importance to us, as our primary mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care.
We recognize that changes in routine can be challenging, and we appreciate your cooperation as we navigate this new system together. The safety of our students is our top priority, and we believe that by enhancing our dismissal procedures, we can create a more secure environment for everyone.
To further expedite the dismissal process and ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all, we kindly ask that you remain in your vehicles when picking up your children. This will allow our staff to hand-deliver students directly to you, minimizing congestion and ensuring that each child is safely escorted to their car. Your adherence to this request will greatly assist us in managing the flow of traffic and maintaining a safe area for our students.
We have ordered name cards to be placed in your vehicle windows to accelerate the process even faster. We believe this along with parents or guardians remaining in the vehicles will fast-track the dismissal process. Once again, understand it is not our desire to create frustration or confusion merely to provide the safest care for our students until they have completely exited the premises. I assure you that we only desire a speedy and safe dismissal.
Thank you once again for your continued support and commitment to our school community. Together, we can create an environment where our children feel secure and cared for as they embark on their journey of learning and growth.
Warm regards,
Jason M Bracey, Principal
